Updated Saturday: Sweet Marcheline, the small female pup on the right, did not survive her battle with Parvo. Run free sweet girl. We are heartbroken.
💔💔 HELP NEEDED, PLEASE SHARE💔💔 These three beautiful lab puppies are fighting for their lives tonight. They are suffering from Parvo, a deadly virus, plus they are loaded with worms and fleas. These pups are from two litters. We'd like to show you their litter mates but we can't because they're all dead. The littlest pup on the right is in the worst shape of the three. This case makes us so angry. A backyard breeder who couldn't be bothered to provide adequate care or shelter or vaccinate their dogs is responsible for this suffering and death. They just throw food outside on the ground for the dogs.
We expect our vet bill to save these three puppies to be about $2,500. If you would like to help us with the cost of trying to save these precious babies, we would be so grateful for any donation. Please note -- this neglect case is not local, please do not call local authorities to inquire. It is in a rural area, about 150 miles from us. There are still other dogs on the property and we are trying to get all of the dogs surrendered and out of there. If they won't surrender the dogs, the authorities will be contacted. Once the authorities get involved, it's out of our hands and we can't help any of the other animals on the property. If they aren't healthy, they run the risk of being euthanized or held as evidence. As a rescue, our priority is saving every animal we can.
