Here is a little rundown about what Fifty West is all about:

All the beers brewed at Fifty West Brewing Company have been hand made in small batches with a focus on craftsmanship, tradition, innovation, and patience. There are several reasons why we selected the name ‘Fifty West’; the most obvious being the fact that our brewery is located on Route 50, which extends from Coast to Coast- it spans

more than 3,000 miles starting in Maryland and stretching all the way to California. The brewery is located in a building that has a vast and varied transient history (http://www.cincinnati.com/dining/heritage/history.html); from the settlers heading west through the Ohio River valley, to the days of Prohibition when our building was a favorite of George Remus and the bootleggers running whiskey from Cincinnati to Chicago, to where we are today—amidst a renaissance of the craft beer movement. To us, it’s not about the destination, but instead making sure we are enjoying the journey, appreciating the moment, and brewing beers that are enjoyed by anyone who is willing to let us become a part of their journey.

Huge thanks to everyone who took to the trail Saturday for our 6th annual Sip Trip. We hope you had an amazing time stopping by all the stops for some brews (and bragging rights 😉). Being located right on the Loveland Bike Trail is one of our favorite things, and we love making the most of it! 🚴‍♂️🍺 Can't wait to do it all over again next year. Who's in?

Our Wooster Pike slushes have been a summer staple for years, and we're happy to report that a brand new slush machine has just landed at Deerfield!

Rotating kid slushes, frozen alcoholic slushes, and questionable decisions involving sharing them with your dog all summer long. ☀️

(We're not saying you SHOULD share... We're just saying Findlay seemed pretty happy about it.)

Congratulations to Charlotte Wade of Lakota West High School, our Fifty West Student Athlete of the Month!

Charlotte just wrapped up an outstanding junior year, balancing both soccer and track while maintaining the dedication it takes to succeed in the classroom and in competition. To Charlotte, being a student athlete means understanding and accepting the balance between academics and athletics, and knowing how to focus your energy on both without prioritizing one over the other.

Some of her favorite athletic memories include defeating MND during her junior soccer season and the excitement of competing in late-night 4x400 relays during track season.

Charlotte also told us she loves math. When we asked if there was a teacher she'd like to give a shoutout to, her answer was easy: Mr. Joseph. 🙂

When she's not on the field or the track, you can find her enjoying her go-to Fifty West order: the Kansas Burger and fries. 🍔🍟

Congratulations, Charlotte! We can't wait to see what you accomplish during your senior year. 👏

Small victories call for cake!! 🎉 (shoutout to Rylee for making us the cutest cake ever🌻).

Drinksunflower.com is officially live!! Now shipping to Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. 🙂Getting here took a lot of long days, late nights, problem-solving, and more spreadsheets than we ever expected. It’s not exactly how we envisioned this chapter, and it still breaks our hearts that we can’t currently serve our fellow Ohioans, but we’re determined to keep Sunflower growing!!

If you’ve been cheering us on, we’d love your help with this next step. We’re starting fresh in several new states, so every recommendation, share, and review makes a difference.
