HOW TO PARTICIPATE & GIVE BACK SO OTHERS MIGHT EAT
WHAT IS TOSSED SALAD? It’s like “band in a hat” with a twist for charity (FreeStore Foodbank). Musicians submit their name and instrument on this page or in a message. There’s a hosted drawing night with special guests (Oct 29 Yacht Club). Musicians randomly drawn form a pop up band. Two songs are randomly drawn for each band. Songs ar
e submitted here (asking a $1 donation to Freestore per song). Pop up bands have almost 2 months to learn the songs – in any style. For examples, you get the song “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and choose to play it as Ronnie James Dio or Deftones song, VH1 style -- on stools. Bands are encouraged to have fun with the band names, costumes and styles. However, you do it, songs are performed live Tavern December 17. Cover and food donations on Dec. 17 go directly to Freestore Foodbank. A panel of judges will award a prize for Winning Band ($200) AND the two people that submitted the winning band’s songs ($50 each). MUSICIANS SIGN-UP

2) Oct. 29th show up at NS Yacht Club @8:30 for the drawing of band members and songs. (No worries if you can’t make it, we’ll let you know who you’re playing with).
3) LIKE this page and tag/challenge other musicians to join in. We need 50 musicians to make this really work! MUSIC FANS & FRIENDS SUBMIT SONGS
