I will begin with stating that I’m not one for drama or rumors. I’m prior military service and a mom of 4. I work hard, I balance a lot, and I am proud of the success that my family has built. So I ask if you take the time to read this, that you hear me for every word that I write.
Running a business is not for the weak, nor is it something easy. Many people think they can do it without having to think, but there’s SO much that goes into it.
When booking, or cancelling bands I have to think about the cost of them and how much they brought in when they performed. When scheduling I have to weigh in school schedules, kids schedules, and other jobs.
Does that matter to you, I’m sure not, as if I didn’t own a business I wouldn’t think about majority of the things that go in the background.
When taking over an established building, you inherit all the prior damage. ex: the destroyed bathrooms, the old plumbing, the worn chairs & money to fix those doesn’t just magically appear, it takes time. When a businsess successfully operates for 10 years & things change it takes time to settle those.
I’ve learned when to add the limes to the Ultras, the oranges to the Millers & when we’re in the White Claw moods or beers. I happily shake up the grape bombs, and cheer on all life milestones. I’ve learned to know customers by name, and shared the joy of my children with many.
I personally open the doors today for our staff. Those who have grandkids, children, or are learning to become adults themselves. If you choose to support us from here on out, I thank you. & if you do not, I pray nothing but the best for you 🫶🏽
For those bringing up the past of some of my family, please think back to yourselves at the age of 18. (And yes in this case we’re taking 21 years ago)
With so much love,
Jenn
