So boys and girls all good things must come to an end. It’s been a bit over 4 years since Roddy & I opened Vista Pig and it’s been a wonderful experience and thank you all for the memories. We’ve always believed that Vista needs it’s own restaurant to call home. We’ve decide to close the doors on September 2nd and we will re open as TownHall Public House Vista on September 10th. Our vision is a community that lives together eats together. Our focus will will be a playful environment with our same great staff, southern gastropub style shares, shuffle board tables and more. Another big announcement our beloved Alyssa Morales who’s been doing a amazing job running Oceanside will be going on maternity leave to bless the hamfam with dbldbl (Roddy’s nickname cuz all the dbl dbls she smashed the last 9 months) we can’t wait!!! The hard working, dynamic Mark DePlasco who’s been running Vista will find his way back home to take the reigns in Oceanside. Finally we are welcoming home non other than Mario Moser as Chef/Partner, our original Pasta slinging, chicken & dumpling slaying, pork belly guru!! We are so excited to have him and his family back in the hamfam. While all of these changes may seem a bit scary, Roddy, Chef and I are so excited to bring this fresh, family and community driven concept to Vista. Oceanside Pig will still feature its southern inspired menu. Bantams Roost in Bressi will feature fast casual, southern inspired California cuisine. We hope to see you over the next few weeks as our final weeks of Flying Pig Vista and look forward to all the new things on the horizon! Once again Roddy and I can’t thank you all enough for you continued support over the last 8 1/2 years and we look forward to seeing you ALL at !
