Happy Labor Day Weekend from The Hop Brewery! It's going to be a hot one, so hop on in & get cool with us!

Mowin Brau is back on tap today along with a Cherry C***r, That's No Moon, Honey Porter, Red Wasp, Killer Pear, 30 Hop Six IPA, Peach Orchard, Red Berry Seltzer & Hop's Hard Lemonade!

Today's drink specials are Peach Margaritas & Bourbon Orange Blossoms. We're still savoring the tastes of summer. In addition, we have our classics: Lemon Lavender Martinis, Blackberry Wh***ey Lemonades, & Cinnamon Latte Martinis.

Our kitchen specials today are Jalapeno Popper Hot Dogs & Philly Chicken Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes. We've also got Pulled Pork Nachos, Cheeseburgers & Pretzels Bites.

This week we’re pouring Kentucky Owl Confiscated — a Kentucky straight bourbon inspired by barrels that were confiscated from the original Kentucky Owl distillery during Prohibition.
It’s a rich, smooth pour with plenty of caramel, vanilla, oak and warm baking spice.

🥃 Bourbon Pick of the Week: Kentucky Owl Confiscated
This week we’re pouring Kentucky Owl Confiscated — a Kentucky straight bourbon inspired by barrels that were confiscated from the original Kentucky Owl distillery during Prohibition.
It’s a rich, smooth pour with plenty of caramel, vanilla, oak and warm baking spice. A good one to slow down with and enjoy neat or over a big rock.
If you’ve been curious about Kentucky Owl, this is a mighty fine place to start. 🦉🥃

We’re keeping this week’s post simple. Our hearts are with our neighbors in Du Quoin after yesterday’s devastating fire, and with the business owners, employees, residents, and first responders affected by it. These people are our family and friends.

The Hop will be open as usual this week. We’ll have Jalapeño Popper Hotdogs, Philly Chicken Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes, Peach Margaritas, and Bourbon Orange Blossoms, among this week’s specials. Come see us if you’re out and about, and please pray for Du Quoin. ❤️

🌱 Christopher Community Garden — We Need a Few Helping Hands! 💪

The REA Clinic has gone above and beyond to get a new Community Garden off the ground here in Christopher. Six raised beds are already in place, dirt is being hauled in, and now we need some good old-fashioned manpower to help get those beds filled.

We’re meeting at the REA Clinic this Thursday, September 3 at 9:00 AM to shovel, haul, dump and spread soil into the raised beds.

And fair warning — it’s going to be HOT. Heat-advisory hot. ☀️🥵 Bottled water will be available, and we’ll work smart, take breaks and get as much accomplished as we safely can.

If you’ve got some muscle, gardening know-how, or simply a willingness to pitch in, we could really use you. Shovels and wheelbarrows will be available, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.

This garden has the potential to become a really great resource for our community, and the folks at REA have already put a tremendous amount of work into making it happen.

Let’s show up for them and help drive this project home. 🌱❤️

After two successful months of Bonus Hours, Thursdays are officially here to stay — 5–8 PM. 🍻

And starting this week, Sarah is back behind the bar on Thursdays… which means her Halloween countdown is officially back too. 🎃

Summer may be winding down, but the Hop Brewery is not. Check out what we have going on today!

We have a Cherry C***r that we just tapped along with our Red Wasp, Killer Pear, That's No Moon, Honey Porter & more. Check out our full tap list at www.thehopbrewery.com

Our drink specials this week are:
The Pineapple Cherry Sunset - bright, fruity, tropical, and easy to sip. 🍒🌅

The Boston Cream Pie Martini is rich, creamy, and dessert-like with smooth vanilla and chocolate flavors.

We've also got our classics: Blackberry Wh***ey Lemonade, Lemon Lavender Martini & Cinnamon Latte Martini.

Our kitchen is serving up some yummy specials as well:

The Chicago Italian Nachos… crispy chips piled with melty cheese, pepperoni, banana peppers, and a side of marinara for dipping. Basically, if pizza and nachos had a very delicious child. 😄🍕🧀

And then there is the Pineapple Bacon BBQ Burger is sweet, smoky, savory, and just messy enough to be worth it — juicy burger, bacon crumbles, pineapple, and BBQ goodness all working together.

We've also got Cheeseburgers, Pulled Pork Nachos, Pretzels and several dips to choose from: Pineapple Jalapeno, Fried Pickle & Artichoke, Jalapeno & Parmesan. So come hungry!

Our Bourbon pick of the week is the Blue Run Flight III from the Knights & Sail collection.

On Wednesday, September 2nd we're hosting an open Mahjong play starting at 6pm. Come play with us!
