I'm excited about teaching at the Swannanoa Gathering Old-Time Week this July 12-18 at Warren Wilson College in NC. Early Bird registration ends Monday, Feb. 9, so get going to get good rates!, or sign up any time of course. Many old-time masters will be teaching everything from fiddle to banjo to singing and of course autoharp.

In between his luthier autoharp orders, someone asked John to make a custom chord bar set for this Chromaharp. The walnut bar set turned out to look great on this vintage instrument, and doubtless improved the action for the player!

I'm going to be teaching autoharp July 21-26 at the Swannanoa Gathering at Warren Wilson College in NC! There are loads of other great old-time musicians there that you can choose classes from as well. Early Registration for Swannanoa ends soon. If you sign up by the Feb 5 deadline you will get the first chance to sign up for your favorite classes on an earlier registration day. The Swannanoa Gathering is a series of seven week-long music workshops in various types of folk music and dance held over a five-week period in July and August on the campus of Warren Wilson College, in the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside of Asheville, NC.
