BIG NEWS FROM SOPHIE'S KITCHEN & BAR ❤️
After months of searching, praying, negotiating, worrying, and hoping, I am so excited to finally share that we have officially signed the lease for our new home!
📍 800 Bruce Road, Suite 100 Next to Bellachino's
We will be moving during the first week of August.
This is a huge step for my small business. Many of you know that for the past four years I have faced challenges with air conditioning, plumbing, and the extreme summer heat that comes with operating in an older downtown building. Despite those challenges, you continued to support me, encourage me, and help keep my dream alive.
As a small business owner, and a single mother, this move is both exciting and scary. I am not moving because I want a bigger restaurant. I am moving because I want a better experience for my customers and a better chance for my business to survive and grow.
One of the biggest reasons for this move is simple: I want my customers to be comfortable. The new location will have brand-new air conditioning, plenty of parking, and the space we need to continue serving our community.
I want to sincerely thank every person who prayed for me, encouraged me, shared my posts, left reviews, recommended us to friends, and chose to spend their hard-earned money at Sophie’s Kitchen. You helped make this possible.
Before we move, I need your support more than ever. Moving a restaurant is expensive, and we still have many improvements to complete at the new location. If you've been thinking about visiting us, ordering takeout, bringing friends, or leaving a review, now is the perfect time.
Please continue supporting us during this transition and come visit us when we open our doors on Bruce Road this August.

Dear Chico Friends,
As many of you know, Sophie's Kitchen & Bar is in the process of moving to a new location. We are still at Broadway Street will move in August. This is an exciting step for us, but it also comes with many expenses and challenges along the way.
We are currently open Wednesday through Sunday, serving the same fresh, made-from-scratch Pakistani cuisine that you've supported and loved over the years.
If you've been thinking about stopping by, now is a wonderful time. Every meal ordered, every visit, and every recommendation to friends and family helps support our small business during this transition.

Dear Foodies of Chico,
A few weeks ago, we tried opening on Tuesdays to better serve our community and help support our upcoming move. Unfortunately, with the current summer heat and slower customer traffic, Tuesday sales have not been enough to cover the cost of wages and operating expenses.
As a small family-owned business, we have to make careful decisions to keep providing the fresh, made-from-scratch food you know and love. For that reason, we will be returning to our previous schedule and will be closed on Tuesdays for now.
Thank you for your understanding, support, and loyalty. Every visit, order, review, and recommendation means more to us than you know. We look forward to serving you Wednesday through Sunday and continuing to be part of this wonderful community.
