This photo popped up in my memories today. This was the Summer of 2002 when I joined the Red Hat Society and started my Chapter. One of our founding members is missing, but this was the 5 friends who began the Purple Passion Majesties. It's soo early on, I'm the only one who was in purple, and I didn't even have a pink hat yet (I was a Pinky Queen). I will be celebrating my 24th year as Queen this August! It's been a crazy ride.

Today, April 25th, is Red Hat Day. On this day in 1998, Sue Ellen Cooper, gifted her best Friend, Linda Murphy, with the first Red Hat to celebrate her 50th birthday, and so as the saying goes, the rest is history 💜❤️💜❤️

We celebrated the Red Hat Society's 28th Anniversary 🎉 🥳. Several ladies couldn't make it but we enjoyed great company, delicious food, and we met a new member!

We lost a member, Mary Castronovo, who joined us for many years. The last time I saw her was St. Patrick's Day 2018.
