Hi friends 💛

Jayci’s will be closed tomorrow, Saturday August 15th.

Like so many of our neighbors, this week has looked nothing like we expected. Between days without power and flooding in our basement, our time has been spent cleaning up and trying to get our home back in order. I simply haven’t had the time (or power)needed to prep and bake for tomorrow.

But I know we are far from the only ones dealing with this. So many families in our community are cleaning up flooded basements, removing fallen trees, waiting for power to come back on, and dealing with damage from the storm. We were incredibly fortunate that the trees that came down on our property missed our home, and I know not everyone was as lucky.

So while I’m sad not to open the stand tomorrow, bread can wait. Right now, taking care of our homes, our families, our neighbors, and our community is what matters most.

To everyone still without power, cleaning up damage, or simply exhausted after this week We’ll get through this! I’m hoping each day brings a little more progress and that our whole community can start getting back to normal soon. ☀️☀️
I’m praying for all of us, for our homes, our families, our neighbors, and for brighter days ahead.💛💛

We’ll be back as soon as we can.
