Back when we got this whole ball rolling, we believed there was a better way to brew. The giant mega-breweries only care about saving a buck, so they brew cheap, flavorless beer. They brew boring beer and try to convince people it's good because the can turns blue when it's cold. No, there's a better way and it involves searching out forgotten beer styles and experimenting with non-traditional ing

redients. This new way, at its core, is about navigating the road less traveled. It's about constantly searching for what might be around the next bend. We take classic styles and imbue them with an experimental edge. Some of our beers are a little goofy. Others are delicate and refined. But they’re all damn delicious. So pour yourself a glass and let’s find out together what’s Around the Bend.

Let the party begin! We’re launching our new collaboration with this Sunday, 11/10. Fiesta Mucho is inspired by the fest biers of Munich but with a bit lighter body and a touch of corn for some residual sweetness. Join us at District Brewyards in West Town from noon-3:00 for samples of Taco Mucho’s awesome fare and the release of this tasty new brew.

Got any weekend plans? Join us at Kettlestrings Tavern in Oak Park this Saturday to mark the start of the ATB Tap Takeover. Starting Saturday evening 6 of the 8 taps will be switched over to various Around the Bend beers. There will be some fan favorites like the ‘Juice Trials Hazy IPA’ and some more seasonal picks like ‘Vesper’ our pistachio cream ale with pumpkin spice.

Here’s the full list of what you can expect:

- Vesper
- Vivian
- Otto Euro Lager
- Juice Trials Hazy IPA
- Acid Test Watermelon Sour
- Oktoberfiesta

We’re a small, production brewery located in Chicago. We believe in pushing the envelope - searching for what's next. Our canvas is your glass. You can expect interesting new flavor/style/technique mash-ups from us. But never just to be gimmicky. If there's not a clear reason to believe adding certain ingredients or changing a process will elevate the style that we're brewing, then we won't do it.
