So i get hold of a scooter that I had previously built a battery for a customer to see that they where having issues when I was sicker and had to take it somewhere else. The place they took it too installed a 36v battery with a DC to DC converter to buck down the voltage to the systems 24v operating volts and also bypassed the relay to stay on all the time. For what reason they did this is unknown but I got rid of all the excess electronics and reinstalled my built battery that they said wasnt working and just finished a 10 mile ride full speed and still had battery. It was clever but unnecessary and a jumble of wires now it's clean and light back to factory wiring specs with all switches and original plugs working.

This was a small project I just did last week, it shows how to revive a battery from a Segway scooter. The green is the positive wire and yellow is negative running at 52v until the battery pre bms read 45v then unplug and plug in oem charger and hope for red light then charge overnight.

First time I've seen this. Customer complains scooter dies under load and throws motor code. I tested motor it came out fine so I took it apart to find the hall sensors had popped out of place. Also some of these motors have loctite on the threads be sure to heat the base before trying to remove. Lastly if you do strip a screw cut a slit with a Dremel and use a good flathead.

All part of the process this is how you turn a $15 piece of steel into a couple hundred bucks, And still got spare mater...
