Sad news. I loved this bakery, as did many of you.

It is with great sorrow, that my family and I have to announce the passing of our dear mother Barbara Matsui. She passed away on Monday, March 22, 2022 of natural causes. She was born on Nov. 16, 1933 in Chicago. She was 88 years old.
Many of you may remember her bartending part time at the Wrigleyville Tap in the late 80's, early 90's. Bab's made an impression on everyone she met.The world has lost a wonderful person and we will never be the same without her in our lives. There will be no services at this time. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
