This immersive, interactive sensory workshop is designed to help those preparing for the Advanced Cicerone® tasting exam and is also a great way to help brewers, beer judges, and other beer professionals develop their palates and become better beer tasters. While some tasting experience is assumed, no level of Cicerone certification is required to attend this workshop.

In this half-day course, Master Cicerone® Neil Witte will lead guided tastings and sensory exercises, including:
• Flavor descriptor development
• Style discrimination strategies
• Identification of 12 off-flavors
• Blind tasting practice and at-home training techniques

We had an incredible time at CBC in Philadelphia, where we shared a sneak peek of a few new products and educational tools we’ll be launching soon. Check back next week for public announcements.

We also enjoyed connecting with so many members of the community at our annual Cicerone Community Meetup.

The week wrapped up with the World Beer Cup awards, a great reminder of the quality and depth of beer being produced around the world. Congratulations to all of this year’s medal winners.
