Nestled in a quiet corner of Lincoln Park, The Monkey’s Paw is an intimate 72-seat neighborhood spot serving artisanal plates and pouring more than 150 whiskeys, craft beers and boutique wines. Our rotating list of 12 draught beers features small batch offerings from craft brewers around the world. Our regional, seasonal, farm-to-table fare means the menu is never frozen and most certainly always

fresh. Join us for a weekend brunch or a spirited evening; the warm ambiance is always welcoming. The name comes from the famous short story by W.W. Jacobs, in which a monkey’s paw grants three wishes, with unintended consequences. In a nod to the 11 years it took to bring The Monkey’s Paw to fruition, we can certainly identify with the irony of the famous tale. But as another fable tells it, good things come to those that wait. We look forward to serving you soon.

Our latest Relic of The Paw is worth its weight in gold…🐒🪙

From weighing gold dust in Ghana to sitting behind the bar at The Paw, this little monkey has made quite the journey. Purchased from a swap meet in DUMBO, New York City, this Akan goldweight traveled home to Chicago, finding a perch on our bar.

⚽🌍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Scotland's World Cup dream is alive.

Last Saturday, Scotland earned its first World Cup victory in 36 years, defeating Haiti 1-0 and taking sole possession of first place in Group C after Brazil and Morocco played to a draw.

Tomorrow, the Scots take on Morocco in a crucial Group C showdown—and what better place to watch the game than at The Monkey's Paw.

And, while rooting for the Tartan Army, be sure to take advantage of one of Chicago's best Whisky selections here at The Paw and enjoy a dram or two from the Highlands, Lowlands, Speyside, Islay, or beyond.
