Don’t forget to stop by Douglass Park Fieldhouse on Saturday, August 21st, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (or until supplies last) for the Westside Cultural Foundation annual backpack and school supply giveaway. Masks are required and the child must be present to receive a backpack. The first 50 parents will receive two tickets to the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash in Douglass Park on August 21st and August 22nd! The Brown House Experience will be on-site distributing free books and Four Point Play will be giving away free athletic care bags! You don’t want to miss this!

WCF was one of 167 entities selected by to receive grant funds to provide activities that build community cohesion and promote safety and peace. On Thursday, October 29th at 5:00pm WCF, in partnership with and , will host the North Lawndale Youth Safety Town Hall.
