Former Republican congressman Joe Walsh has issued a scathing criticism of Donald Trump’s impact on the United States, arguing that in just 14 months, America’s standing on the world stage has suffered dramatically.

According to Walsh, the U.S. no longer commands the same level of respect and trust it once did. He claims that many people around the world now view America with fear, frustration, disbelief, ridicule, and even sympathy.

For Walsh, the issue goes beyond any single policy or political decision. He argues that it is about the leadership and character being displayed from the White House.

Walsh has accused Trump of being cruel, corrupt, dishonest, reckless, and willing to disregard rules when they become inconvenient. His central argument is that when a nation places someone he considers unfit for office in a position of enormous power, the consequences eventually become visible far beyond its borders.
