Gibsons Italia is a modern Italian steakhouse in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Opened in October 2017, it is Gibsons Restaurant Group's first downtown restaurant since 2005. At the heart of the menu is a world-class tour of beef, starring Gibsons Prime Angus, Gibsons Grassfed Australian, Japanese Kobe and Miyazaki, and Carrara 640 Wagyu. The elegant and comfortable four-level restaurant and bar features outdoor dining on two levels, two fireplaces and a rooftop bar and lounge with a retractable roof showcasing stunning views of the Chicago River and the city's skyline. Gibsons Italia is Chicago’s 2018 Eater Award winner for Most Beautiful Restaurant of the Year. It was named the top steakhouse in Chicago by USA Today (2018), earned a three-star review from the Chicago Tribune (2017), garnered the“Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator (2018), and won Readers’ Choice Dining Award for Best Steakhouse from Chicago Tribune (2020).
