Hello! A little update from us!

The Buttcracker will not be returning this year to Chicago. As with all good things, they must come to an end at some point! The show still lives, and the rights are available to be produced by other production houses, theatre companies, burlesque companies, etc., but Subversion Productions will not be producing it at this time. Please contact Jaq at [email protected] if you are interested in producing the show in your city!

Thank you to our amazing Chicago audience who have supported us for the last seven years. You are truly who make Chicago theatre and burlesque amazing. Thank you to all the amazing performers who have humbled us with your talents, and the productions crews and leaders who made the show glitter in all it's butt stuff glory! From a humble one night show in 2016 to a five week run in 2024, The Buttcracker made its mark in the Chicago scene, and we are forever grateful for it's existence!

We are so thrilled to have Brielle with us every performance (except Sat night) making magic and smiles before the show!!

Brielle is a Chicago-based, full-time Magician and Mentalist. This is her second year doing pre-show Magic for the Buttcracker. She has a passion for bringing laughs, joy, smiles, and child-like wonderment to people of all ages. She has a life-long passion for performance and entertainment. She is a Fulbright scholar with a background in Musical Theatre, Improv, Psychology, and Teaching. When she discovered Magic it was love at first sight, and she never looked back.
