To the brothers, keep leading, keep answering the call to serve, and most importantly, KEEP ACHIEVING! Although this chapter has left a long lasting impact on our communities, there is still so much more work to be done! YO! 💪🏽

Faces were filled with excitement, and hearts were filled with joy as the Chicago Heights (IL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. proudly inducted our 2026–2027 Kappa League inductees! ♦️

We want to take a moment to thank the parents, families, and community for supporting these young men and, more importantly, for trusting us and allowing us to be a part of their journey.

Our hope is that through this program, we can help guide and develop these young men into outstanding pillars of their communities, while encouraging them to become leaders and positive influences among their peers. We want to see them grow, challenge themselves, and recognize the impact they can have on the world around them.

We are so excited for what this year will bring and look forward to all the memories, lessons, and experiences we’ll share along the way! 👌🏽

♦️ A MAJOR MILESTONE FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE ♦️

The Chicago Heights (IL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.® is proud to announce the adoption of a highway near the intersection of Chicago Road and Vollmer Road, adjacent to Prairie State College.

This highly visible location represents more than a sign—it reflects our continued commitment to serving, strengthening, and beautifying the community we proudly call home.

Every person who travels this roadway will see that the men of Kappa Alpha Psi are present, engaged, and dedicated to making a positive difference.

This is a huge accomplishment for our Chapter and another powerful example of Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.

Congratulations to every Brother who helped make this milestone possible!

It is with profound sorrow that the Chicago Heights (IL) Alumni Chapter, announces the passing of our beloved Brother William James, a Fall 2019 initiate of The Chicago Heights (IL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Brother James answered the call to our Noble Klan through the Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter and carried the ideals of Phi Nu Pi with dignity, fellowship, and a sincere spirit of Brotherhood. His presence among us will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever remain a part of the Bond we share as Kappa Men.

As we reflect upon his life, we honor the fellowship he shared, the relationships he cultivated, and the impact he made upon his Brothers, family, friends, and community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the James family and to all who loved and cherished him. May they find strength in the memories created, comfort in the love surrounding them, and peace in knowing that Brother James will never be forgotten by the Brothers of the Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter.

Though he has transitioned from this earthly chapter, his name, his spirit, and his legacy will remain forever etched within our Brotherhood.
