🌿🍸 Labor Day weekend at Worton Creek — same holiday weekend, completely different vibe. 🍸🌿

While Labor Day weekend may bring out the big parties (😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 The View at Skipjack), sometimes you’re looking for something a little more laid-back. A cocktail in the Sipping Garden, dinner on the porch or patio, a comfy seat in the Commodore’s Lounge and some great tunes playing in the background while the sun goes down over Worton Creek.

That’s exactly what we’ve got planned. ❤️

We’re keeping things rolling Friday, Saturday and Sunday with live music all three nights:

🎶 Friday, September 4 — Anthony Sophy | 6–9 PM

🎶 Saturday, September 5 — Cooper Wade | 6–9 PM

🎶 Sunday, September 6 — AJ Jesson | 5–8 PM

No giant all-out party scene needed over here. This weekend is more about good tunes, good food, good cocktails and one hell of a pretty place to enjoy all three.

Start with a drink in the Sipping Garden, move onto dinner on the porch or patio, and maybe finish things off with dessert and a nightcap in the Commodore’s Lounge. Or find your favorite spot, settle in and stay awhile.

Because Labor Day may supposedly be the unofficial end of summer, but around here we’re not quite ready to start talking about that yet. ☀️

So if your idea of celebrating involves less chaos and a little more creekside chill, we’ve got your seat waiting.

Come eat. Come sip. Come listen. Come unwind.

☀️ Sunday Funday at the View at Worton Creek 🍸🎶

Well, would you look at that… TWO beautiful weekend days in a row. Mother Nature, we see you. 👏

And since today’s weather is looking absolutely stunning, we’ll gladly TAKE TWO. 😉

Whether it’s cocktails in the Sipping Garden, an intimate little moment tucked away in The Commodore’s Lounge, followed by dinner on The Front Porch or outside on The Dining Patio… Sunday is looking pretty damn good from the Creek.

And speaking of Take 2… 🎶

Some of our favorites you may recognize from Skipjack are coming to the Creek! Take 2 will be playing outside on the patio from 5–8 PM, and with weather like this, there’s really no better place to spend a Sunday evening.

Cocktails. Dinner. Live music. Creek views.
And TWO gorgeous days in a row.

Apparently we’ve all been making dinner WAY too complicated.

So we’re simplifying things in The Commodore’s Lounge & at the bar.

The only question is…

🍸 GIRL DINNER — $25
Side Caesar + side fries + an Espresso Martini.

A little salad because we’re responsible.
Fries because… balance.
And an espresso martini because obviously. 😂

🍔 BOY DINNER — $25
Smashburger + your choice of bourbon OR b**r.

That’s it.

No fries, fellas. Dad bods are going out of style and we’re just trying to do our part. 😳

And here’s the catch…

Girl Dinner & Boy Dinner are ONLY available in The Commodore’s Lounge and at the bar from 4-7 Daily! Must be 21 or older… dah!

So grab your person, your girlfriends, your buddies or your favorite bad influence and come sink into a chair or belly up to the bar.

Wellllll… would ya look at that. 👀🌱

After weeks of babying, watering, worrying and basically treating this grass like another one of my children, the lawn is FINALLY filling in … mostly….and holding up pretty darn well!

Which means I think she’s ready for a little foot traffic.

And what better way to break her in than taking it back to the era of this beautiful old building with some good old-fashioned CROQUET ON THE CREEK?! 🔨⚓️

Seriously… croquet with THAT view?! 😍 Boats in the background, gorgeous lawn, cocktail in hand… we’re getting dangerously close to classy around here. 😳

So if you’re looking for something fun to do, grab a drink, grab a mallet, challenge your friends and come knock some balls around on the lawn.

And fellas, don’t worry…

I used the blue ball so you don’t have to. 🔵😂

⚓️ THE WEEKEND STARTS TONIGHT AT WORTON CREEK!

Doors open at 4PM, and we have a suggestion: don’t just come for dinner… experience the whole View. 🍸

Start your evening in The Sipping Garden — grab a cocktail, settle into an Adirondack chair and enjoy the creek.

Then make your way to The Front Porch for dinner, good food and those beautiful Worton Creek views.

And when dinner is finished, there’s absolutely no reason to go home just yet…

Slip into The Commodore’s Lounge for dessert and an after-dinner drink. 🥃🍰

Sipping Garden ➡️ Front Porch eats ➡️ dessert in the Lounge.

We call that progressive dining done right. ⚓️

And the rest of the weekend is looking pretty good too!

Now about that forecast… don’t let the rain percentages fool you. The weather is looking warm and cooperative during the hours we actually want to be outside, with any showers expected later at night. Saturday is around 84°, and Sunday is bringing the sunshine with a high around 87°! ☀️

So pick a day… or better yet, make a weekend of it.

Good food. Cold cocktails. Live music. Creek views. And plenty of places to settle in and stay awhile.

🌿⚓️ How about a little Soothing Sunday on the Creek?

After a weekend of running, rocking, drinking, dancing and doing whatever the hell you people do when you’re left unsupervised… Sunday is for slowing it ALL down.

Come grab a comfy seat, order something delicious, sip on a cocktail and soak up that Worton Creek view while Red Rock Runaways ease us into Sunday evening with acoustic tunes from 5–8 PM. 🎶🍸

Classic rock. Pop rock. Country. Cover tunes you actually know the words to… whether anyone around you wants to hear you sing them or not. 😂

No rushing. No Sunday scaries. Just good food, cold drinks, live acoustic music and one hell of a peaceful little view. 🌅⚓️
