4801bar & Social Club This is a private home built bar for the purpose of entertaining family & friends. in Washington, D.C. At that time it didn't have an "official name".

This is a private, home built bar, for the purpose of entertaining family & friends. The bar was created on December 1st, 2006 in an apartment located on the 9th floor of 4801 Connecticut Ave N.W. The bar was relocated to the 8th floor on June 22nd, 2007. After a night of drinking... or maybe it was a week, the name 4801bar was chosen, and has been the "name" ever since. After much deliberatio

n and planning, renovations to 4801bar occurred from February 22nd - March 9th, 2009. Much of the original 4801bar remains although, the look is completely different. On May 18th 2010 4801bar was moved to its new home in Chesapeake Beach, MD. In December 2011 Social Club was added to the name 4801bar to reflect a more accurate description. Family and close friends are always welcome!
