The ethos that I created for Forgotten Boardwalk 10 years ago was to create family and a welcoming space for all. Thank you for exceeding my expectations. You have all become my sideshow group of characters, weirdos, lovers and exes (good riddance), friends, & drinking buddies. We have shared stories, tears, music, laughs, breakups, marriages, engagements, children and then some. This is your space and a gathering space for the freaks & geeks. We lived here. We made family here. We are the Forgotten Boardwalk.

Today is also our final Firkin Friday when we tap “Peaches & Cream” using our Belgian White, What the Butler Saw as a base. Our First Firkin Friday was November 7, 2014 and it was a tradition we carried every month since (Covid aside) and we couldn’t do it without you coming and trying them! From Funnel Cake favorites to cocktail inspired firkins, we hope you enjoyed them as much as we did! Our very final bottle release will be tomorrow. We began this project in 2014 in a fresh American Oak Barrel. We brewed a Belgian Style Lambic and filled the barrel. Every year we would empty half the barrel out and release all the funk to people and then re-brew the exact same recipe and fill the barrel back up. And repeat this process for every year since 2014. It is as old as us.

This was always intended to be our final beer. And here it is. Our Final Bottle.
