We're located on a 178-acre lakeshore farm -- a farm that's been in our family for more than five generations. Here at our winery, we provide our guests with robust wines, cool slushies, mellow spirits, NYS craft beers, and fresh charcuterie boards. Celebrate May 30 with White Caps Winery!

The wind is up on the bay and the sun keeps
popping out, so we’re ready for some summer
weather at the winery. Guests are already
walking dogs and enjoying the porches and the
dock. With our nine wines available as well as
Meier’s outstanding craft beers, there’s a
beverage for everyone, including some mixed
drink options, sparkling water, seltzers and pop.
Charcuterie boards offer a bit of great food as
well. So rain or shine, come join us on Saturday
from Noon to 6:00 PM!

Come Rain or Come Shine

We're open this Saturday, May 16th, 2026, and ready for whatever weather comes our way on Chaumont Bay! Join us for a sunny day on the dock or on one of our porches, where there's a nice cushy chair waiting for you! And bring your dog along to enjoy a trail walk. Should we have a challenging day weatherwise, aka rain, the fireplace will be blazing and you can join the mermaid in our tasting room and smile about the weather! You won't care a bit if the day is dreary; you'll be surrounded by sailboats, some soft music, and all things nautical to see, plus wine, craft beer, charcuterie boards, seltzers, and more!

Just in case you need a light jacket to keep you warm in this changeable weather, ours are on special this Saturday at 25% off, and in case the weather turns summery, our t-shirts will also be on sale!

Come see us from noon to 6:00 PM. If you're planning on a trail walk with your dog, bring boots. We're still rather soggy in the fields and vineyard! We look forward to your visit!

White Caps Winery is opening for the 2026 season this Saturday, May 2nd at noon! Hours this month are Saturdays from Noon to 6:00 PM. Sip a glass of your favorite wine or craft beer, bask in the sun on the dock by the bay, take a walk with your dog on the farm to watch the horses, or hang out on one of the winery porches, we can’t wait to welcome you back. We enjoy meeting new friends too, so bring someone along! See you Saturday!

Welcome to spring from Whitecaps! Yesterday the first Great Blue Heron of the year appeared on flat rocks, just past the winery. The ice is also out of the bay, and the migratory birds and ducks are busy visitors.

Whitecaps Winery will be open Saturday's during the month of May. Hours of operation will be from noon to six pm. So please join us to celebrate spring, beginning on May 2nd!

We'll soon be introducing rosé, our newest wine which is ready for bottling. During the month of May, enjoy a half price glass of wine yourself when you bring a friend to the winery for their first visit!

We're looking forward to enjoying warmer weather with you. So, the furniture will be ready for you to enjoy, and welcome sunshine on the dock. As always craft beer, mixed drinks, and other beverages will be on hand.

Welcome to Spring at Whitecaps! We will be opening this season May 2nd, and we hope to see you. This Spring we want to capture the life and atmosphere around the winery with your help. Tag us or send us a DM and we may post you photos on our pages! Can't wait to share these moments with you!

We apologize for any inconvenience, but White Caps Winery will be closed unexpectedly today, December 14th, due to staff illness. Please leave a message at 315 767-3084 for a return call and provisions will be made for you to pick up wine at another day.

All of us at White Caps wish you and yours the very best for the holiday season. Thank you for the joy and patronage you’ve brought to the winery in 2025!

Our last day of the season is Saturday, December 13. Come join us for your holiday wine purchases; we’ll be open from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Free tastings so you can select the right wine to help you celebrate (and keep warm) during the winter months! As usual, we offer a 10 percent discount on cases of wines.

We’re booking parties, events, and weddings now for 2026. Just call Gail, at 315 767-3084 to discuss your plans! Events can be booked from January 1st on, as we are open for parties and celebrations throughout the entire year.

For regular hours, we’ll reopen on the first Saturday in April, and hope you’ll be joining us then!

Welcome to White Caps Winery in Chaumont, NY for the upcoming holiday season. Open for the remaining Saturdays in November 2025 with our treat of four free wine tastings to help you choose a wine for your holiday dinners and parties. We have a great array of wines from our sweet Redneck Yacht Club to Seyval Blanc, our driest wine.🍷 Each Saturday we’ll be open to serve you from 2:00 - 6:00 PM, so come plan your celebrations with us! The 🔥 fireplace will be here to warm you and our Dirty Snowman drink celebrates the beginning of winter weather, so come join us at our winery by the bay!
