The 2nd Annual Hiwassee Shuck
October 24th • 6 PM • B&B Marina
Some dreams grow into traditions. We hope this one becomes ours.
Inspired by the beloved oyster roasts of Charleston, South Carolina, The Hiwassee Shuck brings our community together on the lawn along the banks of the Hiwassee River. Imagine oysters roasting over an open flame, a raw bar, good food, familiar faces, and new friendships waiting to happen.
It’s something folks around here don’t get to enjoy just any ole time—and that’s part of what makes this evening special.
For decades, B&B Marina has been a place where people come to belong. To gather, make memories, and feel part of something that has withstood the test of time.
When Ryan and I bought the marina years ago, we had no idea what was ahead—or how deeply our love for this community would grow. What began as a dream for B&B became a desire to share this place with people near and far. The Hiwassee Shuck was a dream within that dream, one we’ve taken time to cultivate and bring to life.
This year, we’re pouring our hearts into it. And yes, we poured them into last year, too! 😉
Our hope is that years from now, we’ll still be gathering here together—reconnecting with friends, welcoming new ones, and carrying those memories from one Shuck to the next.
There are three ways to join us this year:
🦪 The Full Experience — $250
Reserve your seat at the table for the complete evening, including the main course.
🦪 Hors d’Oeuvres Experience — $150
Enjoy the evening’s hors d’oeuvres without the main course. Reservations are required.
🦪 Come Join the Gathering — À La Carte Tickets
For the first time, we’re also opening the event to the public with à la carte tickets! Come enjoy the evening with us, even if you aren’t reserving one of the dining experiences.
