We’ve had a lot of people asking lately if we changed our minds about selling the tavern… so let’s clear that up 😂🍻
No, we have not changed our minds.
We absolutely still plan to retire and sell when the right buyer and the right opportunity come along. That has always been the plan, and it still is.
What HAS changed is we’re focusing more on enjoying life along the way instead of putting everything on hold for the future.
The truth is, we’ve worked hard for a long time. We built this place into something special, and we’re proud of what it has become. But we also want to start enjoying more life outside these four walls too ❤️✈️
So this year, Greg and Tonya are planning to travel more, take more little trips, and make more memories while we still can. That means there may occasionally be random days the tavern closes so we can get away here and there....starting in June🙃
Nothing bad is going on. We’re not disappearing overnight. We’re just finally trying to slow down enough to enjoy life a little more instead of waiting for “someday.”
So — yes, we are still open to selling and fully intend to when the right person comes along. Until then, we’ll keep doing what we’ve always done… serving cold drinks, acting a little inappropriate, and making memories with all of you 😂
