Another stellar Bottle Share in Charlotte! We braved the heavy rains to pour an outstanding lineup of wines for everyone to share. There is no community more special anywhere in Charlotte. Thanks to everyone who came out and we hope to see more friends at the next one in September. Cheers!

Legendary winemaker, Robert Foley, visited Cork.Vault telling stories of his amazing life in Napa as winemaker for Heitz, Pride, and many others before launching his eponymous label. The wines were fabulous and it was a genuine honor to host such an esteemed and accomplished winemaking legend. We hope he makes many return visits to the Queen City. Our door is always open!

Domaine Henri Gouges is one of the most highly regarded producers in all or Burgundy. Founded in 1919, Gouges successfully campaigned against naming any Nuits-St-Georges vineyards as Grand Cru even though he was the owner of many of the vineyards likely to garner this prestigious and lucrative designation. He did this in an effort to avoid negatively impacting the neighboring vineyards of his many friends. Today the Gouges wines are seen as Grand Cru-calibre (with prices to match!). Cork Vault always loves seeing gems from this famous producer coming through our doors!

It was barrel pick-up day at the Hospices de Nuits-St-Georges. Our partner at did the heavy lifting grabbing the Cork Vault barrels for elevage by himself, and . We are ecstatic to partner with these exceptional houses and cannot wait to see the finished product. Merci a nos amies de Bourgogne!
