POSE. FACE. BODY. BASS.
Friday, Scorpio introduces POSE, the first of a new monthly night created to center Black & Brown q***r nightlife, music, movement and community. Long before voguing reached mainstream pop culture, Black and Latino LGBTQ+ ballroom communities built their own spaces to be seen, celebrated and unapologetically themselves. POSE is a nod to that legacy, while pushing that energy forward for a new generation.

This isn’t a recreation of a ball. It’s a modern club night inspired by the freedom, attitude and movement that ballroom helped bring to q***r nightlife.
The main floor is built for vogue, Baltimore Club, Jersey Club, Hip-Hop, R&B, twerk and pure dance-floor energy.

For our first night, Baltimore’s Kotic Couture takes the 360° booth. Known as the “Queen of the Underground” and “Most Lit on the Mic,” Kotic blends Ballroom and Baltimore Club with today’s dance and club culture for sets that are impossible to stand still through.
