The Bottle Shop is uptown Charlotte’s new wine destination, a retail wine shop located at 100 W. Trade Street inside the newly renovated Charlotte Marriott City Center. Locals can drop in to sample wines at free tastings and then buy a bottle to take home or have a case delivered. The shop stocks 120 labels with something for everyone, from crowd pleasers too hard to find bottlings. The wine tasti

ngs are designed for exploration, featuring two wines with a common theme like California vs Oregon Pinot Noir, American sparklers, North Carolina wines, White vs Red Blends, and Chardonnays from different regions. Wines from The Bottle Shop can also be enjoyed anywhere in the hotel from the lobby to guest rooms to Uptown’s new favorite coffee house Coco and the Director with no corkage.
