Moving on Up(town)
It all started when Davidson Street Public House opened in NoDa in 2014. After about four years of testing their unique dining and entertaining experience, they fell in love with a space in Uptown on S. Brevard Street - almost three times the size of their original NoDa location.
While they kept the name “Public House,” the Uptown location is not a revival of their shop on Davidson Street; it’s a new concept that will bring old Public House fans and Charlotte foodies together with an array of delicious food, cocktails, craft beer, entertainment and much more.
To top it off, their good friend, Clayton Sanders, who ran the kitchen at Davidson Street Public House and developed the menu for Gin Mill, will be building out a menu of shareable small plates at the Uptown location. We can’t wait to share The Public House with you!
