Job Opening!

Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company is a growing regional brewery located in Charleston, SC. We are looking for an experienced, motivated part-time Cellar Assistant to join our team!

Benefits:

Air-conditioned/heated, indoor facility
Duties include, but are not limited to:

CIP/SIPs on a variety of tank sizes
Transferring beer in different stages of fermentation/conditioning
Adding a wide variety of hops, fruits, and other adjuncts to fermenting beers
Meeting a variety of quality control point across all tasks
Working with a diverse team
Organizing and maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment
Safely operate a forklift and scissor lift
Job Requirements

Professional brewery cellar experience
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
Ability to lift 55lbs, twist and turn, reach above shoulders, bend, stoop, scale a ladder, and climb stairs.

Threadbare has arrived.

Threads have been woven through time and space to form a tapestry of friendship but also a picture of something older, something from the before-times. Tales of the British blending beers, not in the brew house, but at the public house have given us at EOBC and our friends at inspiration for a shared journey that will take the better part of a year to complete.

Our first step is this offering is the rarely seen Pale Mild. Expect notes of toffee and drop biscuits laced with the hints of honeyed First Gold hops.

Available in our taproom and in limited distribution.

An Ode to Maude, the Backpack Beagle 🐾

Some dogs leave paw prints. Maude left a legacy.

A beloved fixture of the EOBC taproom, Maude was the kind of dog everyone knew and loved. Whether she was making the rounds for attention, accepting treats from her admirers, or keeping a watchful eye out for a dropped French fry in the courtyard, she embodied everything a great brewery dog should be.

Her best buddy was undoubtedly Will, and it’s safe to say she never met a snack she didn’t appreciate—especially if a little roast beef happened to find its way in her direction.

Many of us will remember the sight of her ears flapping in the breeze as she rode through downtown in her backpack on the back of Dan’s bike, taking in the world with that unmistakable beagle spirit. If you were lucky enough to hear it, her adorable howl could brighten any day.

Maude brought joy, laughter, and plenty of tail wags to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her friends at EOBC and beyond.

Please join us in sending some love to Dan, the very best dog dad. Thank you for sharing Maude with all of us. ❤️🐾🌈
