As we celebrate Small Business Saturday, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to you—our loyal customers—who have supported Bittermilk, throughout the years. Your love for our mixers—whether for holiday cocktails, quiet mocktail nights, or gifting to friends—keeps us inspired and fuels our passion to create the highest quality products possible.
Every time you choose one of our mixers or syrups, you are supporting our family business that started as a side project alongside our main focus at the time, a craft cocktail bar.
We recently took our two oldest children back to visit our very first business – The Gin Joint, the tiny restaurant and bar that inspired us to create a product where the customer could recreate their craft cocktail experience in their own home.
We never imagined an idea for a single product, our Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Fashioned would evolve into a line of 10 different mixers. In the midst of Bittermilk’s growth, we were able to handover the keys to our little bar. And the best part...we now have bedtime well before midnight!
Our business has organically evolved into a Bottling Company, featuring four brands of our own, along with bottling beverage products for other like-minded companies.
Looking back to our days behind the bar and in the kitchen, we never imagined reaching this point. Thank you for being an essential part of our journey. So, let’s raise a glass (or a coffee mug!) to those moments that connect us and the joy of savoring life’s blessings.
