As most already know our Charleston location shut its doors last Sunday. We had a grand finale and all who we love were present. Molly's got a great sendoff no doubt.

Today we removed the last of our equipment and decor. Which no doubt will pop up on the walls of Danbury or North Myrtle Beach locations. There will be other locations in the future and possibly other brands.

Molly Darcy's Charleston closed as a thriving and successful Business, numbers were up and we had achieved perfection within our Team, 2016 our greatest year on record, sadly terms of our operating lease went against us, to pay double or get out are not the greatest of options for a family run business dependent on a working class customer with only so much they can afford. We were, as they say Squeezed out.

More Restaurants closed this year than opened, which is sad, how many Hotels are too Many, and how many residents of them can pay double for a meal or beverage. Stay tuned as we watch the Bubble swell.

We remain very proud of our success here and are delighted to report all our great staff have secured jobs.

We love the City of Charleston and its people, we have made lifelong friends here and some members of our team will continue to reside here. We will continue to be a part of this great community.

A list of people to thank for our success would be far too long for this post, but you know exactly who you are and we love each and every one of you.
