Hi, I’m Kayla 👋🏼
The one usually standing on the other side of the bar.

I’m the owner of Salt & Stem, but I’m also a wife, a mom of two, and someone who spends pretty much all of my free time with my family.

Outside of family, give me a new restaurant, a couple of my girlfriends and a night where nobody needs me to cut up their food and I am THERE. 😂

I’ve spent most of my working life in hospitality, which is probably why I genuinely love taking care of people. I love a good party, I love the little details, and I love seeing a happy crowd. It is such a privilege being there for those moments when everyone gets to slow down for a little while to celebrate love, joy and laughter together. 🩵

Salt & Stem has become this really fun little piece of my life that somehow makes it all make sense. Because even on my busiest days, I get to slow down for those quiet moments too.

The first dance. A mom watching the boy she raised become the man of someone else’s dreams. A dad looking at his daughter like she’s that little princess running around in a sparkly dress all over again. An aunt and uncle quietly dancing together in the corner when they think no one else is paying attention.

It’s all so special. And I get a front-row seat.

Weddings at Potter Farm’s is located in Moncks Corner, SC and we got a first look during their recent vendor preview! 🌾

Outdoor ceremony space, Lowcountry scenery, and plenty of room for a great celebration!
