Chardon Tavern The place to go for cold drinks, great food, and friendly atmosphere. The name changed to Chardon Tavern & Grill but many locals still call it The Bev.

In 2008, Rich & Amie Willner along with partners Marty & Char Flynn purchased local landmark Chardon Beverage (AKA The Bev) from long time proprietors Tony& Loretta Pasquale. Dave & Lori Youdath partnered with Rich & Amie in 2016 to continue to make Chardon Tavern the place to go for cold drinks, great food, and friendly atmosphere. With 12 beers on tap, fresh burgers from Heritage Meats in Middle

field, and 21 wing sauce options including 10 of our own signature sauces, you’re sure to find a favorite!

Rebuild update!

It's been a while, but we're still working!

Mother Nature wasn’t especially kind to us this winter so it took longer than we wanted to have the roof done. Which meant we couldn't start much of anything inside.

But now…..The roof is done, the floor is done and walls are going up! Finally! New seating, tables and kitchen equipment have been ordered. There is lots still to do!

We're hoping to reopen on June 1.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped us to ask WHEN?? We can't wait either! We miss seeing everyone.

Great news—construction is finally about to begin! After what feels like 47 years of emails, meetings, and paperwork with contractors and adjusters, we’re officially ready to rebuild. It’s been a wild ride since the fire, but we’re feeling hopeful and so grateful to everyone who’s said they can’t wait to come back! We miss you all more than you know and can’t wait to get back to pouring drinks, firing up the kitchen, and seeing our place full of life again

Chardon Tavern Update
We’ll be temporarily closed for the next 6–8 months.

A heartfelt thank you to the Chardon, Kirtland, Hambden, Munson, and Burton fire departments for their incredible support.

We’re truly overwhelmed by the kindness of everyone who has reached out—whether by stopping in, calling, texting, or messaging us online. Your support means the world to us.

We’re committed to reopening as soon as we’re able, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back.

THE most important thing is everyone is safe. None of our staff or customers were injured.
