Hi everyone! Friendly reminder -- FCPS has changed their volunteer procedures -- If you have signed up to volunteer for the end of year parties, you need to be registered as a Level 1 volunteer with FCPS -- the link is here: https://www.fcps.edu/get-involved/volunteer-fcps

You'll select Franklin Middle School volunteer opportunities -- it takes a few hours to get approved, but not long to do. Please do this before Tuesday!

FCPS encourages families of students as well as businesses and community members to get involved. There are so many ways to participate!

Two big asks as we get to the end of the year. First, we need interested people to be on the board for the PTA next year. The full board is turning over because we are 8th grade parents and without a board, the PTA will be dormant and no activities will occur! Email [email protected] if you are interested!!!

New boundary maps for the new high school lines are available online. Lots of changes coming to this area for FCPS schools. Lots of changes for middle schools and elementary schools too. Meeting tonight & Thursday night about it at Skyview High School from 6-8pm. April 27, 2026

Fairfax County Public Schools is developing the boundary for our new school, Skyview High School, which is located in the western part of Fairfax County. Establishing a boundary for a new high school affects surrounding schools and pyramids.

Finding Orlando’s truly horrible attempts at love poetry posted throughout the trees, Rosalind, in her disguised state, offers to teach him the finer points of courtship – in order to win herself!
