Twisted Espresso Martini.

The espresso martini has been exploding the last couple years. I decided to do my own version.

Crown Vanilla, Ketle One Orange, Kahlua, simple syrup, orange bitters and one shot of fresh espresso.

You know what they say, more espresso less depresso ☕☕☕

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! 2025 is a great year! This past week has been such an amazing time. The people I have met over the last couple of days have brought me so much joy! New friends and connections is a great way to start the new year! Here is what I've been up to the last couple days!

First two photos:

This is a drink I just made up using the amazing gift that my friend got me for Christmas. I had some guests that wanted to roll the dice and see what we got. So what we have is on the dice is whiskey, rosemary, pineapple citrus bitters, creme de cassis, ginger, lime, and jam / fruit preserves. I haven't named it yet but it was a phenomenal drink / they loved it!

This is a spin on a drink we have on our menu called a Gin Fizz Cosmo. Bombay gin, house made herb sour mix, house made cinnamon cranberry ginger mix, hibiscus tea, fee foam and garnished with a chard rosemary sprig. Normally we put a hibiscus liquer but we were out so I improvised.

This is my seasonal smoked old fashion. This has been one of the best cocktails I have created, and has been selling itself. Basil Hayden rye, Woodford bourbon, Grand Marnier, house made ginger concentrate, house made pumpkin spiced maple brown sugar syrup. Garnished with a cinnamon stick, star anise, and an absinthe coated glass. It comes smoked but can be opted out.

Even tho you can't see my face completely, you can see how much I love what I do. I feel like every time I make someone a drink, I'm making magic happen ✨🪄! I love seeing their eyes light up as I throw together ingredients, wondering, "Ooo what was that?" "What surprise is this?" "How does she do this?". I'm so lucky to work with people who are creative and are willing to try and create our own infusions! We have such a creative bunch at the Marriott Phoenix Chandler. I couldn't be more proud to be a part of a great team that strives to make creative concoctions! I've had the pleasure of becoming friends with one of the kindest people I have ever met. When Chewy was staying with us, he challenged my creative spirit with "surprise me" drinks. Even when he ended up staying at a different hotel, he would come and visit us because he loved our drinks, food, and people that much . He made this super cute video of drinks and food he got during his stay. I look forward to many more encounters with him and our growing friendship.

Devil Wears Tequila. This was one of my first complex cocktails Ive made. Egg white, Reposado tequila, Grand Marnier, lime juice, simple syrup and a floater of red wine. This was part of my bar portfolio I made when I was moving states. This is how we did our smoked old fashions back in Illinois. My wife is an amazing photographer and captured these awesome pictures. This was definitely a showy drink that as soon as one person saw it then everyone wanted it. It was such a great opportunity to learn how to do this but then find better ways to do it as well!

Surprise me! This was my version of a Nutty Hawaiian. Disaronno, Frangelico, Absolute Vanilla vodka, and pineapple juice. is the king of Surprise me ! And has started a new tradition for when he comes and visits. He brought a lot of joy to us in the time he stayed with us. Thanks for the challenge!
