Yesterday changed the world forever for Snows Bar & Grill. It changed forever for the owners and their beloved staff. And it changed forever for all of you; the families, friends, and visitors who have loved Snow's for years, or just recently visited for the first time. When Steve and Amy purchased Snow's four years ago they made a quiet promise to themselves, the community, and to the bar itself; to honor the history of Snow's and breathe fresh life into it. With the help of the community in the LCI, the guests traveling thru, and you they were able to do just that.
To the first responders who came and put the fire out....we thank you.🚒🚓 To all of you who have reached out via texts, messages, and social media posts, to those who offered hugs, prayers, and condolences, and to those who have wished us well from near and far...we thank you.❤️
Smitty was spared (though he will need a little freshening up) and has a safe place to hang out. A room with a view! We removed all the tables and chairs from the dining room before the ceiling completely collapsed. It appears all the tables and many of the chairs will be able to be cleaned up and used again.
And now....a little over 24 hours later, everything else is in the hands of insurance. When we know more, we'll let you know more. ❤️👣
PS...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE respect the caution tape and stay off the property. It is not safe and insurance has not completed their investigation.
