Nativity Fund Kentucky Derby Fundraiser POSTPONED - Saturday, May 2nd, 2020 – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has struck the world – At this point the Kentucky Derby RACE itself is being postponed to September 5th – However, we are unsure at this time if we will hold this popular fundraiser in 2020. Nativity Fund Charitable Trust - The nativity fund was founded in November 1998. In that first year we purchased about thirty pieces and distributed them to various facilities within Ozaukee County. This year we have set a goal of over 3,200 pieces to be distributed. This will cover Ozaukee and Washington counties and portions of Sheboygan, Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. We are asking for your support with this project. For some of these residents it is the only outside visitor they receive in a given year. For many it is one of far too few. All appreciate a gift, given freely, and without want of anything in return. Sometimes the residents and staff want to contribute something, but we inform them that all we will accept from them is a "thank you", a smile or a hug.
