Through the years, CSPS has relied on the generosity of our supporters to stay dedicated to our mission of community building through the presentation, advocacy, and support of the arts, music, and theatre of our time. From volunteering to donating, we are grateful for the continued support we’ve received from our community. After being closed for the majority of the ‘20/’21 season we’re excited to bring music, art, and theatre back to full force here at CSPS and we can’t do it without you!

Recently, CSPS has become a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas. Fractured Atlas is a non-profit organization that fiscally sponsors artistic projects. This fiscal sponsorship allows our supporters to make tax deductible donations to CSPS. For their 20th anniversary, Fractured Atlas is celebrating by selecting 20 of their sponsored projects to win $1000!

All one-time donations of any amount between May 2 and May 8 earn CSPS another entry into the drawing for $1000. The more donations we have, the more entries we receive, which makes this the perfect time to consider donating to CSPS. Your support helps CSPS continue to present art exhibitions, live music, and community events, and is invaluable to our organization. Thank you for your continued support of CSPS!

Art, music, politics, and more! The next 2 weeks are going to be a lot of fun here at CSPS Hall.

On Thursday, April 14 join us for "Meet Carl Van Vechten". Kate Kunau, Cedar Rapids Museum of Art Curator, will discuss Cedar Rapids native Carl Van Vechten. Cedar Rapids Museum of Art is currently exhibiting "Carl Van Vechten: Man About Town" through May 15.

Dickie will perform on Friay, April 15 with Chad Elliott! It’s never certain what Prall will offer up for a live performance, but it’s guaranteed to leave you with the reminder that music can make a beautiful lasting impression, and will continue to bring you back.

On Saturday, April 16 come join the Cedar Rapids NAACP and LULAC Councils as they have their second Black/Brown Coalition Event on voting, voting rights, and how our communities can work together to increase and strengthen our political voice by breaking down barriers.

If that's not enough, Pints & Politics returns to CSPS Hall on Thursday, April 21. Register now for a seat to join The Gazette’s Todd Dorman, James Lynch and Erin Jordan, along with IPR friends, including Ben Kieffer.
