The weather might be cooling off for the weekend, but the Speakeasy is just getting warmed up!

You guys.

Something really special is happening in Cattaraugus.

Thanks in large part to the incredible team at Revolution Rail, new people are discovering our village every day. We’re so grateful for everyone working hard behind the scenes to help make Cattaraugus a place people want to visit, explore, and come back to again.

A few of our favorite moments from this past week:

1. On Friday, a couple from Toronto came through riding the rail bikes. And get this… they had NEVER even heard of Ellicottville before. Cattaraugus was their first experience with this whole incredible area. They spent time talking about how excited they were to come back and explore more.
Just wait until they discover places like the Amish Trail, Allegany State Park, Holiday Valley, Ellicottville Brewing Company, and everything else Cattaraugus County, and Western NY has to offer.

2. Last Sunday, for the first time ever, our Cattaraugus café had more customers than our Olean location. We looked at the numbers and nearly fell out of our chairs in the Speakeasy.

3. Channel 2 was in town at the American Museum of Cutlery and Channel 4 was at the rail bikes. Both stories will run soon.

The momentum is real.

People are rallying around something bigger than coffee. Bigger than bikes. Bigger than all of us. Small towns matter. Community matters. Creating places people want to gather matters.
