Our Story

Formally the WOLF's DEN, founded in 1992, the bar was later renamed BARRACKS. This renowned building, the largest gay men’s complex in Southern California earned it's global notoriety for hosting the world's most attended Sunday Beer Bust on the largest, cruisiest outdoor patio on the planet. BARRACKS boasts the best leather men's dance floors in Palm Springs. It has a large main bar room and the newly added WOLF's DEN lounge. Named one of the 10 Kinkiest bars in the world by Alpha Tribe Magazine in 2019.

No matter your fe**sh, if you’re in the mood for some great cruising or just listening to some sexy music while you have a cigar and conversation at the largest patio bar in the desert, The Barracks is your bar.

PLEASE NOTE!: We stride to maintain a MEN’S bar for MEN to meet MEN, however in our current world, the leather community and our youth are opening up their social preferences. We ask our MALE followers to remember that while we don’t exclude women as our guests during certain times, your gay male community members do enjoy the space we have created for Just us Guys. UNDERWEAR NIGHT and some Select events are MEN’S ONLY nights and will be reserved as such. other nights and days during the week, your bartender on duty will guide you on our guest requests for the day / night.
