Hey y’all, just wanted to share a quick update. (We apologize for the radio silence the past couple months, not sure where the time goes sometimes…)
Despite our very best intentions and efforts, the timing of everything just didn’t work out for us this year. So, once the weather begins to clear in the spring, we’ll try this again! One day we WILL get these doors back open for you all. Until then, we thank you for the support and wish you and yours a cozy, love and joy filled winter season.
See you in the spring! ✌🏼♥️🤠

Chef has been waiting oh so patiently for his kitchen to be completed… in the meantime though, you have to admit he’s got a pretty sweet temporary set-up on the back patio to work with.

🚨UPDATE TIME:

Okay folks, here’s the latest. Much to our dismay we will not be getting the doors open this month. Still waiting on some construction projects to be finished up, some kitchen equipment to come in, and some permits to come through. You know, all those fun things that just always seem to go exactly according to plan… 🤪🫠
We will keep pushing hard to get open as soon as we can. Keep checking back for updates! We truly can’t wait to welcome you all through our doors, put a cold beverage in your hands and a delicious meal in front of you.

Menu R&D with Chef for lunch every day is our favorite part of the work day. 😉

The quest for the perfect signature Watson’s Burger continues… this time around Chef went with toasted pretzel buns, a creamy jalapeño sauce, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce from our garden, tomatoes, red onion, and Brie cheese.

Chef knocked it out of the park with this one…Smoked brisket on ciabatta with Havarti cheese,
grilled onions and jalapeños and a creamy jalapeño sauce 🤩🤤

Chef made us this little treat of a salad as a part of lunch yesterday featuring arugula, butter lettuce and basil all from Louise’s garden! Topped with grilled peaches, burrata, and jalapeños, dressed with a simple lemon olive oil and pink salt. 🍑🥗

Word on the street is some incorrect info on our opening date may be floating around out there so just wanted to give a quick update:
We’re pushing hard for opening y’all! We’re hopeful for late July but will announce an official date once we are a bit closer to the finish line. Keep bearing with us and watch our page for updates! We promise we’ll be worth the wait 🫶🏻🤠

Who loves Caprese salad? 🙋🏻‍♀️
Both of these versions were so good! Help us decide, which one would you choose?

⭐️Chef’s Pesto Caprese Salad:
Fresh mozzarella, homemade pesto, apple cider balsamic vinegar glaze, cherry tomatoes, over a bed of mixed greens.

⭐️Jeff’s Classic Caprese:
Sliced fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, fresh basil, a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic glaze, and a sprinkle of sea salt.
