Our Tuesday Supper Special next week is something we are hoping to keep as part of our regular menu.
So... what is Fleischkuekle, you ask?

Fleischkuekle (also spelled fleischkuechle) is a savory, deep-fried meat pie or turnover. Pronounced "flysh-keek-luh," it consists of a thin, flaky pastry dough folded over a juicy filling of seasoned raw ground beef, onions, and spices, then fried until golden and crispy.Originating from the Black Sea Germans and Germans from Russia, this hearty comfort food is incredibly popular in North Dakota and surrounding Midwestern states due to heavy immigration from these communities in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Ours will be served with salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a dessert!

Just saw on the RRVF page that July 9th is also doing unlimited rides for $25 that day, so even if you aren't planning on hitting the concert, $20 will get you to and from the fair to enjoy the rides during that time as well!!

$20 per rider saves you the hassel of parking, walking to the gate, finding a ride or DD, or leaving the lot after the show! Plus, party busses are FUN!!

4:00- pre-concert party starts!
4:45- 1st bus ride leaves Casselton
5:45- 2nd bus ride leaves Casselton

After the show, the driver will have a designated pick up spot and leaving time for riders (this may be one or two rides, depending on how many tickets are sold)

We have decided we are going to try offering some lunch hours (Tues-Thurs) and open at noon instead of 3 on those days to see how it goes. We will have a daily $8 "construction special" listed Tues-Thurs, but the regular menu items will also be available at those times, as well as Rhombus Guys frozen pizzas!

If this takes off and we are busy enough to justify staffing that extra time being open, we will keep doing them. If not, we'll go back to opening at 3. People often say they'd like more lunch options in town, so now is the time to support the local buisnesses who are offering lunches!

We are all just trying to creatively get through this road construction mess! It does affect businesses having less parking and limited access, so this is something we are willing to try.
