Budae Jeongol (aka Army Hotpot/stew) #부대찌개 - Ham, sausage, spam, bacon, baked beans, kimchi, ramen in a fiery gochujang broth.

It’s the perfect anju (food consumed with alcohol), and great for sharing at the table. This stew is named after the leftover US Army rations after the Korean war - at a time when poverty was high, this became the perfect comfort food.
