WE REMEMBER Army Spc. James L. Adair, 26, of Carthage.

He died June 29, 2007, in Baghdad from wounds sustained when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device.

Spc. James Lee Adair was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas.

Adair attended Carthage schools and played football.

Thank you, sir. Today, we honor you and the other heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.
