Cartersville Bluegrass and Roots Music Festival Join us on October 19, 2019 for the 7th annual Cartersville Bluegrass and Folk Festival. FREE Admission + FREE Music!

In October 2013, the Cartersville Downtown Development Authority and Main Street Program introduced the Cartersville Bluegrass and Folk Festival. A free event, featuring two stages, and a kids’ area, the festival was designed to help promote the community, local musicians, and the historic downtown district. The event was a huge hit and expanded in 2014 to include a vendor area and two headlining bands. The 2014 event was also successful and won an award from the Historic High Country Association for Best Event with Attendance of 2,500+. 2015 saw more growth still, with the introduction of our festival zone ordinance for beer and wine sales and in 2016 we are looking to grow again. We have a line-up of 14 performers from local, to regional, to nationally known groups that you can find on our website (www.cartersvillebluegrass.com). This is also where we update our vendor list and sponsorship information so people can stay up to date as our event progresses. We can't wait to see you on October 29, 2016!
