SunRay Brewery SunRay Brewery is a Carlsbad based brewery devoted to small batch high quality beers. Brew Master's, R.J. This led to partnership in SunRay Company.

SunRay Company was started after a collaboration brew day with NEWT Brewery, a Seattle based brewery. Ward and Greg Malone have been interested in high-quality, big-tasting beers. They have a great appreciation for the various craft breweries, and are lucky to be surrounded by so many great breweries. More recently, RJ became interested in home brew after observing and helping his good friend Greg

Malone brew multiple beers for friends and events. The name SunRay Brewing Company was inspired by our love and proximity to the sunny oceans of Carlsbad and by the main style of beers that we brew. SunRay is devoted to brewing in a San Diego style, big hoppy beers which push the boundaries of labels. Look for high IBU's, large hop profiles, and new ideas. Another new recipe. I’ve had this RJington’s in my todo list for quite a while on request from a few friends. It came out great! An English Pub Ale on nitro. Coming in at 5.1% with an awesome creaminess, clean crisp color, and nice complimentary bitterness.

Working on a new recipe today. A Belgian brown. This is using a bunch of specialty malts and a touch of carafa III for some flavor and color. I’m using dark Belgian candy sugar and a smashed coriander addition. If it tastes like how it’s smelling it should be good!
