We want to clear up any confusion regarding anyone under 21 consuming alcohol at Yankee’s Tavern.

While Texas law may allow a person under 21 to consume alcohol under certain circumstances when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, Yankee’s Tavern has chosen to maintain a strict 21+ alcohol policy.

If you are under 21, you will not be served or permitted to consume alcohol at Yankee’s Tavern. No exceptions.

This includes alcohol purchased by, ordered by, or handed to someone under 21 by a parent, guardian, friend, or anyone else while on our premises.

Our policy is simple:

NO ALCOHOL UNDER 21.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
ZERO TOLERANCE.

Anyone found providing alcohol to a person under 21, or anyone under 21 found consuming alcohol on our premises, will be asked to leave.

And one little reminder… our staff is required to ID anyone who appears to be under the age of 35. So if we ask to see your ID, don’t take it personally. Take the compliment. Apparently, you’re aging like a fine w**e. However, we still need to see the ID. 😁

We appreciate everyone respecting our house policy and helping our staff keep Yankee’s a safe, responsible, and enjoyable place for everyone.

🚨🚨 AFROMAN UPDATE 🚨🚨

We want to apologize to everyone who was excited about the possibility of seeing Afroman at Yankee’s Tavern tonight.

Unfortunately, we were unable to come to an agreement on terms soon enough to make tonight’s show happen.

From the beginning, our goal was to put together an agreement that made sense for everyone involved, but most importantly, one that allowed us to give our guests the best experience possible at a fair value. With the short turnaround, we simply weren’t able to get everything where it needed to be in time to confidently move forward.

We know there was a lot of excitement surrounding this, and we’re disappointed we couldn’t make it happen tonight. We appreciate everyone who showed interest, shared the news, and was ready to come out and have a good time with us.

This certainly won’t be the last time we explore bringing bigger entertainment to Yankee’s Tavern. We’re actively looking at opportunities for future shows and events, and when we have something locked in, our Facebook followers will be the first to know.

Thank you for continuing to support Yankee’s Tavern. We’ve got plenty more coming.

We honor every soldier who stood the line, every first responder who answered the call, every worker who built our communities, every dreamer who chased opportunity, & every family whose sacrifices became the foundation of this great nation.
