Happy Weekend! With a projected 80 degree evening, it will be lovely for the patio tonight. I should've posted yesterday as the specials were Greek, but tonight we have a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern theme going on. Soup is Lebanese red lentil, appetizer special is a trio of tabouli/falafel/eggplant caponata. Chicken is aleppo pepper with cous cous and the fish is a Spanish shrimp/mussels dish with peppers/tomato/chickpeas. Cheers! 🍾🥂

Bonjour. Fingers crossed the rain stops late afternoon so we can enjoy the patio and smell the lavender. I'm dreaming of Provence, so tonight's specials are vichysoisse for our soup, blanquette de porc for the plat du jour, pan bagnat for tonight's sandwich and shrimp Provencal for our fish. Sante! 🍾🥂🇫🇷

Happy Graduation Weekend and congratulations Saluki graduates!! 🎓
Soup tonight is roasted red pepper with smoked Gouda (I’ll keep it vegetarian). Fish is bouillabaisse, plat is pork Provençal (tenderloin roasted with tomatoes/peppers/olives) and I’m working on a couple of different desserts, if time allows: rhubarb-strawberry pie and a gluten free almond cake.

Side note-we’re very busy tomorrow night, so I highly recommend calling for a reservation. Busy tonight as well, but more spots available.

Grab a sweater and join us for a beautiful evening on the patio. If you run cold, our soup tonight is mayocabo bean garnished with avocado/cilantro/jalapeno/corn tortilla. 2 plats du jour: open faced croque monsieur served with chips & greens salad and an eggplant/tomato/mushroom/mozzarella baked napolean served over truffled-parmesan polenta (gluten free/V). Pasta is tagliatelle tossed in a tomato/lemon/garlic/parmesan sauce (V). We have a new healthy appetizer: loaded olive oil....topped with balsamic/feta/tomatoes/garlic/herbs & more. For a dessert special, I've made a vanilla bean-bourbon ice cream that can stand alone or as a scoop on top of white chocolate derby pie that just came out of the oven. Wear your favorite hat, and celebrate early with a mint julep as well....the herbs out back are thriving! And though it's not a full moon yet, it will appear full tonight (thanks for the reminder, Jack Parker) Cheers 🌞🌚🏇👒🌿🥃

Happy Orthodox Easter! We have some Greek specials tonight: shrimp saganaki (tomato/fennel/ouzo/feta), roasted boneless lamb loin, a mezze platter (beef kefte, horiatiki, eggplant dip, tzatziki, back breaking/persnickety spanikopita 🥵, olives/feta/pita) and the soup is fasolada. Lots to celebrate this week: Passover, Easter and today....Global's 22nd birthday!!! Sorry I won't be filling the place with balloons, but I'm not going to try and wrangle them into the car with 25mph winds! Let's hope the bad weather stays away, and we see you tonight to celebrate the beginning of our 23rd year!! I could not have done it wthout all of you, and I thank you so much!!!!
